It's Fall

If you haven't been to the school lately you are truly missing the beautiful landscaping job that was done last weekend.  We want to take a moment to thank Pat Christoff, Gail and Dave Johnson and their volunteers for all of their hard work.  Everything looks amazing and festive.  Thank you for your hours of work digging, removing, planting, and decorating all for the beautification of our school!

Save Around Coupon Books

It's not too late to return any unpurchased coupon books.  If you currently have a coupon book or have misplaced it please send a check into your childs homeroom teacher made out to YSES PTA for $20.  We have to pay for all books that are unaccounted for.  We are at this time waiting on another 100+ books to be returned. 

We will be closing this fundraiser out at the end of the week.

General Membership Meeting 9/12/12

We will have our first General Membership Meeting on Wednesday, September 12th at 7:00pm in the Media Center.  Please join us to meet the new officers, event heads, and to view the newly proposed budget for the 2012-2013 school year.

Friday Folders--Important PTA information coming home

Keep your eyes out for the PTA Packet that should be coming home in every child's Friday Folder tomorrow.  In the packet is information about PTA, our committees, and involvement.  You will also find our Membership form, Directory Form and our Volunteer form.  In addition to this packet you can expect to see the Chess Club sign-up information and the Foriegn Language Program Registration Form.  Please return all completed forms as soon as possible to your childs homeroom teacher. 

You will also receive a Fundraising packet (and the Save Around Coupon Book inside).  We encourage everyone to take advantage of this coupon book as it has many valuable coupons for the Frederick area.  All unpurchased books are expected to be returned to the school by Friday, September 14th.  Thank you in advance for supporting the Yellow Springs PTA. 

We will be participating in multiple fundraisers this fall so please take advantage of the ones that interest you and return any materials for the ones that you don't.  You can expect to see: Save Around Coupon books, Raven's Raffle, It's all Fun and Games order forms, and Cookie Sales in the upcoming months.

Open House this Friday

Visit the PTA Table at the YSES Open House!

Sign up to volunteer. We have lots of opportunities!
We will have membership forms and volunteer sign up sheets.  Please consider donating time to help the children at Yellow Springs.  We are currently looking for volunteers to head up our After School Enrichment Programs, Bulletin Board, County Council Representative, Cultural Arts, Family Fun Night, Fundraising, and Race for Education committees.
